COPS NAB BURGLAR AFTER HE RETURNS TO ASK VICTIM FOR DATE: A suspect in a home robbery was arrested when he returned to the scene of the crime two hours later -- to ask the victim for a date! Police say they arrested the 20-year-old in front of the Columbus, Ohio home after a relative of the victim called 911. He's currently being held on $100,000 bail and is facing a charge of aggravated robbery. (AP)
WOMAN FALLS OFF CLIFF AFTER ACCEPTING MARRIAGE PROPOSAL: A woman on a romantic hike lost her footing and fell off a cliff just moments after she accepted a proposal of marriage Sunday. The woman was rescued off the Billy Goat Trail along the Potomac River by personnel from the U.S. Park Police and Montgomery Fire and Rescue. She was treated and released from a local hospital. It is not known whether the couple has set a date for the wedding. (CBS)
