
JUDGE ORDERS LAWYER TO DRESS WELL: A federal judge in Brooklyn, New York dismissed a complaint by a lawyer that he had the right to wear jeans and a baseball cap in the courtroom. The lawyer showed up to court in the outfit and was told by the judge that he was dressed inappropriately. The man decided to sue the judge and county clerk claiming that his right to wear the clothes were protected under the first and fourteenth amendments. However, it is within the law that a judge can set reasonable limits on litigants' behavior to enforce courtroom civility. (Reuters)
PILOT STALKED EX-GIRLFRIEND WITH PLANE: California Police arrested a man they claim was stalking his ex-girlfriend by flying his plane at a low altitude over her house. The man was arrested after an evening where neighbors called police to complain about a low flying plane making several passes over the area. He was arrested shortly after landing the aircraft. The police say they have been investigating a low flying plane in the area for over a year. The man is facing charges of felony stalking and violating a restraining order. (AP)
"DEAD" BABY WAKES UP AT FUNERAL WAKE: A baby that was born sixteen weeks prematurely and pronounced dead by doctors in Paraguay, woke up before its funeral wake. Doctors originally said the baby had been stillborn, but when the parents left the hospital with the baby it began to cry and move its limbs. The hospital is investigating the matter and the baby is now in stable condition in an incubator. (Reuters)
