The superintendent of a New Jersey school where students were videotaped being taught to sing the praises of President Obama issued a statement Thursday saying the taping was unauthorized, but failed to address whether the the lesson -- taught durnig Black History Month -- was approved.
A YouTube video shows nearly 20 young children being led in a song overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again."


Starting Thursday night, North Wildwood could very well be mistaken for the Emerald Isle itself, as the town kicks off it annual Irish Festival.

"...Its the biggest event that we have," said North Wildwood Mayor Bill Henfey, referring to the towns huge four day festival, which is expected to draw over 200,000 people this year,
Over 100 merchandise vendors and 16 food vendors will be set up on Olde New Jersey Av., on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm. A number of music acts will also be performing.

Charles Manson follower Susan Atkins, who admitted killing actress Sharon Tate 40 years ago, has died. She was 61.
Early this month, she lost her final bid for parole. She was brought to the parole board on a gurney and slept through most of her parole hearing
