SAMANTHA RONSON TO APPEAR ON '90210': Samantha Ronson will appear in an upcoming episode of 90210. People magazine reports that Lindsay Lohan's on-off gal pal taped an episode of the CW show, which will air on November 3rd. Ronson's scenes reportedly take place in a club and she will be offering love advice to Michael Steger's character Navid.

DIABLO CODY ADAPTING 'SWEET VALLEY HIGH': Diablo Cody is reportedly adapting the popular teen novel series, Sweet Valley High into a movie. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Universal pictures is negotiations to pick up the rights to the series, with Cody attached to adapt. The publication reports that Cody's formative years were influenced by the books, which centers on a pair of teenage twins living in California. The novels debuted in 1983 and the 150-plus books have been printed more than 60 million times.

J.J. ABRAMS REPORTEDLY DEVELOPING COMEDY? J.J. Abrams is reportedly developing a new half-hour comedy for Fox. The Hollywood Reporter announced that few details about the project have been revealed, except that it will be "a comedic medical show." Abrams most recent project is Fox's sophomore sci-fi drama Fringe.


HOLLY MADISON GETTING REALITY SHOW: Holly Madison is getting her own reality show. PerezHilton.com reports that the former Girl Next Door will begin shooting Planet Holly, on October 12th in Las Vegas. According to Holly, "It will have some docu-drama, but it's the perfect excuse for me to be normal in a lighthearted comedy romp. Think Mary Tyler Moore. In fact, I just hooked up my DVD player so I can look at all the episodes of her old TV show. But Planet Holly also will have an empowering message for women showing that however crazy the ideas you might have, they can be achieved."
