JUDE LAW HAS A DAUGHTER: Jude Law is a father again. Samantha Burke, a 24-year-old aspiring actress with whom Law had a fling, gave birth to the actor's daughter on Tuesday (September 22nd) night. The source told People magazine, "Samantha is doing well," adding, "I doubt Jude was there" for the birth. "Besides the financial support, he's not involved." The child's name is Sophia.
ELLEN POMPEO GIVES BIRTH: Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery are the parents of a baby girl. A rep for the Grey's Anatomy star confirmed to Usmagazine.com that Pompeo gave birth to Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery on September 15th in Los Angeles. Ivery was recently accused of cheating on his pregnant wife but the couple has maintained a united front in spite of the rumors.
SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR WELCOMES DAUGHTER: Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their first child last Saturday (September 19th). A spokesperson confirmed that Gellar gave birth to a daughter, who they named Charlotte Grace Prinze. The couple met in 1997 while filming I Know What You Did Last Summer and later married in 2002.
Jennifer Aniston still is not pregnant. Although the latest cover of OK! magazine blares, "Pregnant at 40!" over a picture of the actress, her rep told Usmagazine.com, "Jennifer is not pregnant." Even inside OK! magazine, no proof of the pregnancy is offered. The piece merely quotes an insider as saying that she "wants to have a baby soon."
Megan Mullally is recovering from minor injuries sustained in a Beverly Hills car crash last week. TMZ.com reports that the former Will and Grace star was involved in a two-car accident last Wednesday (September 16th), causing enough injury to cancel two performances of the play she is currently performing in. The site noted that Mullally was back on stage last Saturday (September 19th), but was sporting a brace on her wrist. Police have yet to determine who was at fault in the accident.
