'LIFE STARTS' ON TUESDAY FOR NEW THREE DAYS GRACE ALBUM

Three Days Grace issues its third album, called Life Starts Now, on Tuesday (September 22nd). The first single from the CD, called "Break," is already off to an explosive start at rock radio. Although the album title sound optimistic, frontman Adam Gontier told us that the record addresses some darker themes: ["We've all had to confront death in certain ways -- in our personal lives, in the past, maybe shortly in the future. So this record as a whole, I think, is basically, it's about confronting that, you know, and realizing that we have to face things that we don't normally want to. And it's about asking and trying to figure out how to get through these situations that pretty much everybody goes through

Foo Fighters have unveiled the track listing and other details for their upcoming collection, Greatest Hits, due out on November 3rd. The 16-track set will come in both a standard edition and a deluxe version, with the latter containing a DVD and a 28-page book featuring never-before-seen photos from throughout the band's history. The DVD will include a series of the band's classic music videos as well as live performances filmed at London's Wembley Stadium and Hyde Park, as well as on the group's acoustic Skin & Bones tour. The set will also be available on collector's 180-gram vinyl.

Five Finger Death Punch releases its second album on Tuesday (September 22nd), with the eyebrow-raising title War Is The Answer. Guitarist and founder Zoltan Bathory told us that the title is open to interpretation: ["You can take it a million different ways, you know. You can go into the philosophical idea of what war is, you know. Life itself is war, you know -- you were born and you're fighting your whole life and you die, so it's a fundamental part of humans, you know. That's why we became the dominant species, you know what I mean? We are creatures of war, really. You can take it in a lot of different ways. We kind of leave it up to people what it means to you
