After attending high school together for over 67 years, comic book icon Archie has proposed to black-haired Veronica in the latest issue. A comic book store owner is so angry that Archie choose the spoiled rich kid over blond girl-next-door Betty that he's sold the series' rare first issue for more than $38,000 in protest. But, the editor-in-chief of Archie Comics says that the story of Veronica and Archie's relationship takes place over six issues and a lot can happen.
A man in Albuquerque has been arrested for performing a sex act on his car in a grocery store parking lot. Witnesses say they saw him standing with his pants down, waving his hands in the air and shouting as he simulated a sex act with the trunk of his car. When cops showed up, the man had passed out next to the car, and when he woke up cops say he appeared intoxicated.
A Dutch grandpa and his teenage grandson thought they were on their way to a vacation down under when they boarded an Air Canada flight to Sydney. Only problem? They were flying to Sydney in Nova Scotia, Canada, not Sydney, Australia. The two unseasoned travelers had booked their trip through a Dutch travel agency. Air Canada put the grandpa and grandson up in a hotel and sent them on their way the following day.
