Good Morning! Wednesday August 19th 2009

Headlines 6am

The woman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase and tossed in an Orange County trash bin has been identified as a 28-year-old former swimsuit model who disappeared over the weekend.

The victim, Jasmine Fiore, was last seen about 8:30 p.m. Friday at her home in Los Angeles and was reported missing Saturday evening by Ryan Alexander Jenkins, 32, a Canadian, who is now a "person of interest" in the case.

On paper, it looks like a logistical nightmare - 500,000 to 600,000 people expected to descend upon the city for today's 2009 Atlantic City Airshow - but organizers of "Thunder over the Boardwalk" and Atlantic City police are working to make sure the crowds move efficiently.

More than 400 volunteers - 100 more than just two years ago - will be stationed throughout the city

6am

Philadelphia police are looking for a 9-year-old girl who was pushed into a river and doesn't know how to swim.

Police Lt. John Walker says the girl was playing with some boys and girls by the Schuylkill River on Tuesday night. Walker says around 8 p.m. one of the boys pushed the girl into the water as a joke. He says she panicked and was carried away in the water.

Walker says the swift current of the river during Tuesday night's rainstorm would have made it impossible for the girl to swim in it.

Curfews might not be just for kids anymore in one northern New Jersey city.

Seeking to curb violence after a spate of deadly summer shootings, Paterson officials are considering an unusual ordinance that would prevent people of all ages from gathering outside in public late at night.

The measure could be the nation's first citywide, non-emergency curfew to include adults
