Celebrity Trash



Michael Jackson died on June 25th, and has yet to receive a proper burial. According to his father, Joe Jackson, the late King Of Pop will finally be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood on August 29th, which would have been the singer's 51st birthday. The elder Jackson told the details to the New York Daily News.


Despite reports, Brad Pitt has not joined the cast of Guy Ritchie's upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie. A rep for the film told Usmagazine.com, "The report in today's London Mirror is completely inaccurate. Brad Pitt is not joining the cast of Sherlock Holmes and we're extremely pleased with the production of the film. As planned, it will be released on Christmas Day, 2009." The Mirror had reported that Ritchie decided to add Pitt in the role of Holmes' nemesis Moriarty after seeing the movie's first edit.


The Wayans Brothers are developing a sequel to their 2004 comedy, White Chicks. The Hollywood Reporter announced that brothers Marlon and Shawn will reprise their roles as FBI agents posing as a pair of white females. Older brother Keenen Ivory Wayans will direct and all three will write the script.


TMZ.com reports that although Abdul won't be joining Dancing With the Stars, she's still talking to ABC about a possible variety show.


The New York Post reports that Joe Simpson is pushing Jessica as "the perfect replacement for Paula Abdul."
