A reality show contestant wanted for murder in the gruesome death and mutilation of his ex-wife was found dead of an apparent suicide after hanging himself in a secluded motel, authorities said.

Police responded to a call Sunday from motel staff about a dead person in Hope, east of Vancouver, and then called investigators who were part of the massive manhunt for Ryan Jenkins


An undercover reverse prostitution sweep in Atlantic City, leads to the arrest of 25 men, all arrested for soliciting undercover female officers, posing as prostitutes.

Taking place in the areas of Pacific Avenue, the 8 hour operation resulted in the arrest of 23 men.

An additional two men were arrested after offering the undercover officer protection and material goods, in exchange for the women to work for them.

Both are charged with promoting prostitution, conspiracy and resisting arrest.


Officials say the caning of a Muslim model who was apprehended for drinking beer has been postponed until after the Islamic fasting month.

Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno originally had been scheduled to enter a women's prison Monday before being lashed six times with a rattan cane some time this week.


9-year-old Alaska boy has died after he was dragged several hundred feet by his own cow at a State Fair

The boy's father, Blair Martin, says his son Mathias died an Alaska Medical Center on Friday night, hours after he was dragged by the cow at the fairgrounds. He says his son died from head injuries.

Martin says the boy put around his waist the rope attached to the cow's harness, and that something spooked the cow while Mathias was out of his family's view.
