Kings Of Leon plan to release both a live DVD and a remix album this fall, according to Billboard.com. The concert DVD was filmed at the O2 Arena in London this past July, while the remix collection will feature revisions of Kings tracks by artists such as Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Linkin Park, producer Mark Ronson and others. Drummer Nathan Followill told us he's especially looking forward to that project: ["That's gonna be awesome. You know, it started out, we just had different people come up to us that were friends of Justin Timberlake or Pharrell and all those guys and it was like, 'You know, they've been working on a remix of one of your songs,' and, you know, they just started adding up. Before you knew it, we had seven or eight that people had just done to our stuff, and the wheel was kind of put in motion then

Green Day closed out its summer North American tour on Tuesday night (August 25th) at the Los Angeles Forum, thrilling the packed arena with a show that lasted more than two hours and 45 minutes. According to Spinner, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong told the crowd, "This is our last show of our tour tonight and we're gonna play all f***ing night," before leading the band into a marathon performance that included a monster medley of excerpts from Led Zeppelin's "Thank You," Van Halen's "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love," Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama," Ozzy Osbourne's "Believer" and a sing-along version of Guns 'N' Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine."

Police were called on Tuesday (August 25th) to settle a custody dispute between Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and his ex-wife, former Miss USA and Playboy model Shanna Moakler, outside Moakler's house in Barrington, Rhode Island. According to local station WPRI-TV, Barker was standing in the parking area outside the home when officers showed up. The drummer was there to drop off his and Moakler's two children, five-year-old Landon and three-year-old Alabama, but refused to leave without a certified nanny present.

Barker told police that he did not want to leave his children at the house without a nanny present because he claimed that a pedophile was on the premises, saying that the person's car was parked at the house. Barker later posted a photo of the car's license plate on Twitter as well as the name of the person, who is believed to be Moakler's uncle. Barker wrote, ""Would u (sic) leave your kids at a house where a child molesters (sic) car was present? Me neither."
