Celebrity Trash




Brad Pitt did not call Tom Cruise's Nazi movie Valkyrie "ridiculous," despite a quote attributed to him in the German magazine Stern. After word of the supposed diss spread around the internet, Pitt's manager told People magazine that not only was the quote "inaccurate," but "Brad has never even seen Valkyrie." Pitt has recently been doing press for his own Nazi film, Inglourious Basterds, which topped the box office last weekend.


In the wake of Ryan Jenkins' apparent suicide, investigators turned their initial investigation to a female companion who reportedly checked the VH1 reality contestant into the Canadian motel where his body was found on Sunday (August 23rd). TMZ.com reports that Canadian police held a press conference on Monday (August 24th), saying that they've identified the mystery woman but will not reveal her identity.
In other news, VH1 announced on Monday that they are canceling I Love Money 3, the second VH1 reality show in which Jenkins is featured. The network had already stopped airing Megan Wants a Millionaire, which brought Jenkins his initial fame.


Kate Gosselin is scheduled for an interview with Larry King on Tuesday (August 25th) night. Entertainment Tonight reports that the TLC reality mom will sit down with King for a primetime exclusive interview on CNN.


Robin Williams is reportedly considering channeling his Mrs. Doubtfire persona again if a film about Susan Boyle makes it to the big screen. The actor is quoted by the Daily Star as having said, "I've been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she's incredible. That clip of her singing on Britain's Got Talent was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing. I saw some other clip of her singing 'Cry Me A River' a few years ago. It was incredible. She's got a really great voice."


Hulk Hogan has a new job. TMZ.com reports that the reality star and former wrestler is now the pitchman for GuaranteedLowerPropertyTax.com. The website features an ad with Hogan front and center.
