A reality show contestant wanted for murder in the gruesome death and mutilation of his ex-wife was found dead of an apparent suicide after hanging himself in a secluded motel, authorities said.
Police responded to a call Sunday from motel staff about a dead person in Hope, east of Vancouver, and then called investigators who were part of the massive manhunt for Ryan Jenkins
An undercover reverse prostitution sweep in Atlantic City, leads to the arrest of 25 men, all arrested for soliciting undercover female officers, posing as prostitutes.
Taking place in the areas of Pacific Avenue, the 8 hour operation resulted in the arrest of 23 men.
An additional two men were arrested after offering the undercover officer protection and material goods, in exchange for the women to work for them.
Both are charged with promoting prostitution, conspiracy and resisting arrest.
Authorities say a small airplane was struck by three vehicles just after it made an emergency landing on a California freeway.
Officers said three cars were unable to avoid the plane and crashed into it. He says the occupants of the plane and the cars were not injured.
JetBlue Airways Corp, which last week began offering a one-month unlimited travel pass, ended the sale early when the passes sold out before the promotion was set to expire, the airline said on Thursday.
The low-cost airline was offering $599 passes that allow holders to travel to any of JetBlue's 56 destinations. The passes are valid between Sept. 8 and Oct. 8. The offer was set to expire on Friday.
