Nirvana's first full-length album, 1989's Bleach, will be reissued in a deluxe edition to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its release, according to Billboard.com. The special version will be released on November 3rd by the band's original label, Sub Pop Records, and will include a previously unreleased live performance, a new remastering job on the original album and a collection of never-before-seen photos. The new recording, a live version of the Vaseline song "Molly's Lips" taped on February 9th, 1980 in Portland, Oregon, has been remixed by Bleach producer Jack Endino.

Following the release of a apparently new Radiohead song last week called "These Are My Twisted Words," rumors were running rampant at press time that the band could be issuing a new digital EP called Wall Of Ice on Monday (August 17th). According to the Radiohead fan site At Ease, the source file for the leaked song includes the title Wall Of Ice and the August 17th date, while artwork posted online in conjunction with the track also reportedly includes that phrase.

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee was forced to sit out the band's concert at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday (August 14th), with Sevendust's Morgan Rose flown in to take his place behind the kit. Lee did show up onstage for the band's encore, "Home Sweet Home." No official reason was given for Lee's inability to play, but unconfirmed reports said that Lee was seen at an Ohio hospital earlier in the day, where he was being treated for a minor injury or possibly a burn on his hand. Death Cab For Cutie singer Ben Gibbard and Son Volt founder Jay Farrar have teamed up for One Fast Move Or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur. Lit drummer Allen Shellenberger lost his long battle with brain cancer last Thursday (August 13th) at the age of 39. Shellenberger, a founding member of the band, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in May of 2008 yet managed to keep performing until last fall. A statement from Lit read in part, "To know Al was to know laughter. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Words cannot begin to express how much he will be missed. This was our brother and not a day will go by that we won't think about him." Lit is best known for 1999's A Place In The Sun album, which spawned the hit single "My Own Worst Enemy."
