DEBI MAZAR, TOM DELAY LEAVE 'DANCING WITH THE STARS'
Dancing With The Stars lost two contestants last night (Tuesday, October 6th) after Debi Mazar was sent home for receiving the lowest combined viewer and judges votes, and Tom Delay bowed out of the competition because of stress fractures in both feet. This was the second week in a row that Mazar had ended up in the bottom two on the elimination show. She was gracious in defeat, saying ["(Debi) Well I definitely know a few more steps. I had a great time. I loved every moment of it. I have great new friends and Maks, I loved my time with Maks."]
CHRIS ROCK SUED OVER 'GOOD HAIR'
Chris Rock has been slapped with a lawsuit over his new documentary Good Hair. Director Regina Kimbell claims the funnyman stole the idea for his film about African American women and their hair from her and is asking for $5 million in damages.
According to the suit filed in the U.S. District Court of Los Angeles, Kimbell showed Rock her 2005 documentary, My Nappy Roots, on the set of his TV series Everybody Hates Chris back in 2007. Kimbell's film included interviews with celebrities who talk about their hair struggles and discuss styles like the conk, the Afro, the Jheri curl and dreadlocks.
Rock executive produced and stars in Good Hair, which opens in theaters on Friday, October 9th. The film features celebrities including Nia Long, Cheryl "Salt" James, Sandy "Pepa" Denton, Maya Angelou, Eve, Kerry Washington, and others.
