Celebrity Trash

ABC News's Chief Washington Correspondent George Stephanopoulos is reportedly in talks to replace Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America. PerezHilton.com reports that although negotiations are ongoing, there's some concern about giving the former political adviser the post since the program is thought of as being "heavy on lighter fare and consumer segments."

With a divorce and lawsuit on his hands -- and no job on the horizon -- Jon Gosselin is hoping his time is valuable. TMZ.com reports that the reality dad is demanding $10,000 - $12,000 for any personal appearances.

A radio show revealed to Access Hollywood that Gosselin's rep denied an offer of first-class airfare, limo service and first-class hotel accommodations to guest host the program -- countering with the five-figure fee.

TMZ claims that Gosselin's rep told the station, "[Jon's] name and appearance on your show will instantly draw press ... and will be a high point for the show," adding that he's "quite funny, sharp witted and interesting."

Bronson Pinchot -- best known as Perfect Strangers' Balki Bartokomous -- is accusing Tom Cruise, his co-star in 1983's Risky Business, of having talked negatively about gay people on the film's set. In an interview with the A.V. Club, Pinchot said that back then, the actor "made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments."

He explained, "It was like, 'It's a nice day, I'm glad there are no gay people standing here.' Very, very strange."

Rosie O'Donnell has hinted that she and longtime partner Kelli Carpenter may have split. In an interview with USA Today, the 47-year-old said, "We're a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues."

The couple has four children, Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, nine, and Vivienne, who is six.

Although O'Donnell wouldn't confirm a National Enquirer report that Carpenter has moved out of their New York home, the paper wrote that "with tears in her eyes," O'Donnell added "But everything's fine and everybody's good and we're still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we're friendly and everything's all right."
