LONDON AQUARUM DISPLAYING MODELS: Visitors to London's Sea Life Aquarium may be shocked to find out that one of the species of fish on display is not real. The Aquarium says that 1 in 10 school children named the fish finger, as in the frozen food, as a real fish in a recent survey that asked 125 seven-year-olds to name three species of fish, so they decided to test the public by putting some of the floating fish complete with heads, fins and tails in their tanks. The plastic "fish fingers" are a joke, but the aquarium hopes the fish fingers will bring attention to a dire need for more basic education about sea life.
HOMELESS MAN TURNS EMPTY BOTTLES INTO FORTUNE: A Russian tabloid reports that a homeless man has collected enough empty glass bottles to begin trading stocks. The man says that he began collecting nearly 2,000 bottles a day after the Russian economy experienced a downturn this past year and credits the mass of empty bottles to Russians drinking heavily to drown their economic worries. The man is a former engineer and is said to have lived in a garbage dump for the last 20 years. (Reuters)
