NICK NOLTE'S SON ARRESTED: Nick Notle's son was arrested for suspicion of DUI and possession of a controlled substance on Tuesday (October 6th). TMZ.com reports that 23-year-old Brawley King Nolte was nabbed after he struck another vehicle while making a lane change. After police came to the scene, they noticed that Nolte seemed intoxicated and arrested him after conducting field sobriety tests.


RANDY QUAID'S WIFE SUED: A police officer is suing Randy Quaid's wife Evi after she painted a sign on the side of a truck accusing the cop of taking illegal bribes. TMZ.com reports that Evi painted the sign after she and Randy were arrested by Deputy James Davis in Texas last month. Davis's lawyer said, "I represent a man who's been in law enforcement for 32 years and he's being accused of engaging in illegal activities, something he's never done."


NO 'SIMPSONS' MOVIE SEQUEL ANYTIME SOON: There'll be no sequel to the Simpsons movie in the near future. Creator Matt Groening told Variety, "It took 18 years to get around to doing the movie. We got very frustrated. We thought it would take two years but it ended up taking four. Some day maybe we'll do another one -- but don't hold your breath." As for the when the 20-year-old show might end its television run, Groening said, "We cannot predict the end because we can't believe we are still here today. We are contracted to do two more seasons following this one. I gave up predicting the end a long time ago."


LINDSAY LOHAN'S MOM LAUNCHING SHOE LINE: Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina is reportedly launching a shoe line. CocoPerez.com reports that the former reality show star has already began working on the venture, which will be named Shoe-han. Additionally, the site reports that the elder Lohan will be the new spokeswoman for the shoe retailer LoveMyShoes.com, which started near Dina's home in Long Island but has since gone nationwide.





'VACATION' REMAKE IN THE WORKS: New Line cinema is reportedly developing a sequel to the 1983 comedy, Vacation. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that a script is being developed, which will focus on Rusty Griswold, the son of Chevy Chase's Clark Griswold, as he takes his own family on a road trip vacation.
