
'PARANORMAL ACTIVITY' SEQUEL IN THE WORKS? Given the success of Paranormal Activity, it's no surprise that a sequel could be in the works. The L.A. Times quoted Paramount Chairman Brad Grey as having said over the weekend, "We have the rights on a worldwide basis to do 'Paranormal 2' and we're looking to see if that makes some sense." The paper also noted that a sequel makes sense for the studio, because they only have the domestic rights to the current film, but would have worldwide rights to a follow-up
PATRICK SWAYZE'S WIDOW GOING ON 'OPRAH': Patrick Swazye's widow has set a date with Oprah to discuss her life with the late actor. Lisa Niemi will appear for her first one-on-one interview since Swayze's death Friday on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She'll also talk about the book she co-authored with her late husband, The Time of My Life. Swayze, to whom Niemi was married for 34 years, died on September 14th after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
CHAZ BONO SPEAKING OUT ON SEX CHANGE: Cher's child is speaking out for the first time since announcing his transition from Chastity to Chaz Bono. PerezHilton.com reports that his first interview will air on Entertainment Tonight beginning this Thursday (October 29th) and stretch out over several shows.
COREY FELDMAN'S WIFE FILES FOR DIVORCE: Corey Feldman's wife has filed for divorce, People.com reports. Suzie Sprague is seeking sole custody of their 5-year-old son Zen as well as spousal support, according to court records filed on October 22. The couple got married in October 2002, just nine months after meeting in a nightclub during the filming of VH1's The Surreal Life. Their wedding ceremony was officiated by MC Hammer and a rabbi.
