Despite the report, a spokesman for Letterman told Gossip Cop that "Stephanie is on a paid leave of absence."

GOSSELIN FEUD INSPIRES 'LAW & ORDER' EPISODE AS COUPLE CONTINUES TO BATTLE
Jon and Kate Gosselin's bitter split has inspired an episode of Law & Order. Usmagazine.com reports that the October 16th episode of the show, titled "Reality Bites," centers around the fictional reality show, Larry Plus 10, which documents the struggles of a single dad who's raising ten adopted special needs kids by himself after his wife, Joy, was killed.
The New York Post reports, "Detectives Lupo and Bernard (Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson) grow suspicious when it's revealed that Joy Johnson wasn't totally on board with doing the show -- she feared for her kids' privacy -- and that Larry, a real estate developer deeply in debt, signed the lucrative Larry Plus 10 contract the day after his wife's murder."
JON SAYS KIDS APATHETIC ABOUT DIVORCE, REALITY SHOW
Unlike Kate's claims that the Gosselin children were "wailing and sobbing" after hearing that production on their TLC show was being halted, Jon told The Insider that the children are largely indifferent to the situation.
He said, "You know why? Because when we told them we were going to get divorced, the 5-year old said, 'What's for lunch?' The only two people who really cared with [9-year-old twins] Mady and Cara. Cara broke down and Mady said, 'Oh, I saw this coming.'"
Jon added that Kate likely dramatized the end of filming to get a reaction from their eight kids. He said Kate probably told them, "'Oh, daddy's put a halt on filming. Your friends are going to go away. She probably worded it in a way that's a violation to them, or their sense of security."
GOSSELIN HEARING POSTPONED
A hearing in the couple's case that had been scheduled for Wednesday (October 7th) was canceled after the judge's wife succumbed to cancer. Sources told TMZ.com that the hearing will be put off until at least next week.
