
Kate Hudson's brother is reportedly expecting his second child. Life & Style magazine reports that Rules of Engagement star Oliver Hudson and actress Erinn Bartlett are going to have another baby. A friend told the magazine, "It's early on in the pregnancy. Erinn is a few months along." Bartlett gave birth to the couple's son, Wilder in 2007.
The Oscar-winning screenwriter of Pulp Fiction has been sentenced to a year in jail for causing a fatal car crash in 2008. The Associated Press confirmed that Roger Avary was sentenced in a California court on Tuesday (September 29th) and received an additional five years of probation. Avary pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in August. Police say his car was traveling at more than 100 mph when it struck a telephone pole, killing one of his passengers and injuring his wife, who was ejected from the vehicle.
The Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office is waiting for Randy Quaid and his wife to return to California and surrender voluntarily to three felony charges they are facing stemming from unpaid hotel bills. The D.A., Lee Carter told RadarOnline.com, "We are seeking their voluntary return to California. We are hopeful that a date will be set for the Quaids in the very near future." Carter added that if the Quaids fail to come back to Santa Barbara on their own, he could send law enforcement from California to Texas and get them.
Dennis Hopper was rushed to a New York City hospital by ambulance on Wednesday (September 30th) after suffering from flu-like symptoms. Sources told Entertainment Tonight that the 73-year-old was wearing an oxygen mask when he was wheeled into the emergency room.
His rep later confirmed that an ambulance was called because the actor was complaining of a stomach ailment and exhibited the flu-like symptoms.
