
A worker at a Manhattan laundromat thought the 4 foot long boa constrictor behind her on a sack of clothes was a giant toy. After trying to pick it up so she could wash the clothes underneath it she realized it wasn't a toy at all. The 9 pound boa escaped five months ago from an apartment three floors above the laundromat. After calling animal control the boa was reunited with its owner. (nypost.com)
A Louisiana man was arrested Friday after police saw him riding a bicycle down the street with a 3-foot alligator draped around his shoulders. When cops tried to stop him, Ingram took off on foot, leaving the bike and the gator behind. He faces charges of resisting arrest, possessing drug paraphernalia and cruelty to animals.
A California man pleaded not guilty Tuesday on charges he led deputies on a car chase that ended with him fleeing naked on foot through a home and into the woods. The 6 foot 7 inch tall man weighs 250 pounds and had to be taken down with a Taser and two shots from a bean bag gun. Charges include driving under the influence, indecent exposure and entering a house without permission. (AP)
