Papa Roach has partnered with World Hunger Year (WHY) to help raise funds and awareness for organizations dedicated to eradicating hunger, poverty and homelessness, according to Blabbermouth.net. Papa Roach is the latest act to join WHY's Artists Against Hunger & Poverty program, which also includes among its membership Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Chicago, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Joss Stone, Earth Wind & Fire and others.


Metallica teamed with rock legends Ozzy Osbourne, Lou Reed and Ray Davies at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday night (October 30th) for the second and final night of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 25th anniversary concerts. Once-in-a-lifetime team-ups were in abundance as the rest of the night's lineup included U2, Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck and special unannounced guests Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Gibbons, Patti Smith, and the Black Eyed Peas.


Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan's side project Puscifer began its first North American tour last Thursday (October 29th) in Las Vegas, where the act made its live debut earlier in the year. At the time of the Vegas shows, Keenan wasn't sure if he would take Puscifer on a full tour, but he told us now why he changed his mind: ["I just think we need to do it. I think it's so impossible to explain what's going on with this show. You just have to basically present it. You know, trying to explain to somebody in Seattle or Denver what this thing's all about requires too many words. You've got to go do it.
