
Police were searching early Wednesday for two armed men at a T.J. Maxx clothing store in a southwest Florida shopping mall after they allegedly held eight employees hostage for at least 3 hours.
Seven of the eight hostages were freed after dozens of SWAT team members, backed by two helicopters, surrounded the store. The final hostage reportedly hid from the gunmen and was injured after being shoved to the ground by the attackers. SWAT members were seen dragging her out of the store on a blanket.

Ozark Police say one of his officers used a Taser on a 10-year-old girl who was combative when the officer tried to get the girl into a patrol car to be taken to a youth shelter.
the officer found the girl on the floor of the house screaming and crying. She refused to follow her mother's instructions and the mother told Bradshaw to use his Taser.
A 114-year-old woman believed to be the oldest native-born American and the third-oldest person in the world has died at a New York nursing home.
Olivia Patricia Thomas died Monday in the St. Francis Home of Williamsville, near Buffalo. She had lived there since 2004. She's being remembered as a dedicated gardener who loved to travel the world.
The oldest person in the world is believed to be Kama Chinen of Japan, who was born one month and 19 days before Thomas.
