
PEOPLE STUCK ON CAROUSEL ASKED TO PAY FOR RESCUE: Fourteen people who became trapped on a carousel in Germany, some upside for almost an hour are getting stuck with the bill after a rescue team was called to get them down. The amusement park maintains that they would have been able to lower the people themselves, had they not called the fire brigade, and refuses to pay for the costs of the rescue. Each person will have to pay about $420, but a spokesman for the Berlin fire service said they will have the option to reclaim the costs from the insurance providers or sue the operator of the ride.
DOOR-TO-DOOR POT SALESMAN KNOCKS ON COP'S DOOR: A Texas man trying to sell marijuana door-to-door in his apartment complex accidentally turned himself over when he knocked on the door of a police officer. Police say the man had a gun and was intoxicated when he tried to sell the cop 3oz of weed. The police officer went back inside his apartment and came back with his badge, placing the man under arrest. The charges will carry more weight because the apartment complex is near a university, which is a drug and weapon free zone.
POLICE SEARCHING FOR FAT AND NAKED ROBBER: A Des Moines, Iowa couple was awoken by intruders in their home Sunday morning. First, the husband discovered a man sleeping on a couch, but he was able to escape out the front door. Meanwhile, downstairs his wife confronted a large, naked woman who was also able to escape into a van parked outside. The husband said about $600 was missing from his wallet, but nothing else appears to be missing. Police are still searching for the robbers and have a jacket they left behind as evidence.
