Celebrity Trash

KIM KARDASHIAN DENIES PROPOSAL BET: Kim Kardashian's marriage plans are not dependent on the Super Bowl outcome. The reality star strongly denied a New York Post report that claimed her New Orleans Saints star boyfriend Reggie Bush made a deal to propose if his team wins the football championship. She wrote on her blog that a joke during a recent interview "was taken way out of context by a lot of media outlets." She added, "In NO way is that a bet I made with Reggie! If you listen to the interview you can hear exactly what I said . . . It bugs me how people twist stories."

'GREASE' STAR HOSPITALIZED AFTER BAD FALL: Grease star Jeff Conaway is a Los Angeles hospital with serious injuries after suffering a freak fall down the stairs of his home. TMZ.com reports that Conaway -- whose struggles with drugs were recently captured on Celebrity Rehab -- suffered a broken hip, a broken arm, a fractured neck and a brain hemorrhage in the accident and is set to undergo surgery.

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS 'GLEE' APPEARANCE IS LIKELY: Neil Patrick Harris is in final talks to secure a guest-starring role on Fox's Glee. Entertainment Weekly reports that Joss Whedon would direct the episode, which would likely air in late spring. Although Harris's How I Met Your Mother airs on CBS, the shows are both produced by 20th Century Fox and don't compete against each other in the same time slot.

IN OTHER 'GLEE' NEWS: The cast is getting ready to embark on a concert tour. Cory Monteith tweeted the news on Tuesday (January 19th), and Gossip Cop confirmed with a source close to the show that while details about dates and locations have yet to be finalized, plans are indeed underway for a live concert run in select cities.

MORE CELEBS ANNOUNCED FOR HAITI TELETHON: Rob Pattinson will appear on George Clooney's upcoming Hope for Haiti telethon . E! reports that the Twilight star will be the sole presenter in London with performances by Jay-Z and Bono. Other stars who will present and/or help in the phone banks stateside are Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Anna Kendrick, Sandra Bullock, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renee Zellweger, Chris Pine, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Colin Farrell, Jon Hamm, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt.

The David Letterman extortion case isn't going away any time soon. In the latest development, a judge refused to dismiss the case against CBS producer, Robert Halderman, who allegedly attempted to extort $2 million dollars from Letterman last fall by using incriminating details about his affairs with female employees. Halderman requested that the case be tossed, but New York City Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon dismissed his bid, noting that his conduct "is a classic example of an issue that is best left for a trial jury to decide." A Letterman lawyer has said the talk show host would be willing to testify in court.
