The 89-year-old man charged with a deadly shooting at Washington's Holocaust museum died Wednesday in a prison hospital
James Von Brunn had been awaiting trial for the killing of security guard Stephen T. Johns at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on June 10. Von Brunn had been wounded by return fire.
von Brunn, a white supremacist who prior to the shooting had written racist and anti-Semitic ramblings on the Internet.

Pennsylvania’s slots casinos got the green light Wednesday when the Legislature gave them the authority to install table games such as poker and blackjack.
Along with poker and blackjack, games such as craps, baccarat and roulette are permitted under the new law.

A brothel about 150 miles northwest of Las Vegas has gotten final approval for plans to hire Nevada's first legal male prostitutes.
The Nye County Licensing and Liquor Board on Tuesday approved a compliance agreement that will allow the Shady Lady Ranch brothel to make the hires as long as the men wear condoms and undergo weekly health tests.

A major police investigation is underway in Scotland after the number of heroin users infected with anthrax rose to 11, including five who are now dead.
